    "It's never too late to be what you might have been."

    Back in 2014, I was home recovering from a bilateral mastectomy when Pretty Simple was born. I knew that God was calling me to be home, to be more available for my husband and children, and cancer is just what I needed to give me the courage to make the leap. You see, I am a nurse by trade. I knew nothing about opening a boutique, or starting my own brand. But when your WHY is fierce, you figure things out. And that is exactly what I did!

    With a lot of help from Google, friends, and by the grace of God, Pretty Simple took off faster than I could have dreamed. 

    Pretty Simple has been able to provide in other ways too. When your daughter is diagnosed with a disease like type 1 diabetes, you’ll do everything possible to find a cure. We can’t just sit back and wait. So we are not waiting. We donate a portion of all Pretty Simple proceeds and every penny possible from the sale of our CURE mittens to the type 1 community. Our goal is to raise 1 million dollars, and know with your help, we can get there!

    Courtney’s journey with Pretty Simple began several years ago, supporting the brand behind the scenes before officially joining full-time in 2023. Today, as our Sales Director and Key Account Manager, she leads with what matters most to her, personal connection.

    Her heart is in building and nurturing meaningful, long-term relationships with our retail partners. From key account management and growth strategy, to market appointments and product launches, Courtney’s focus is always the same: how can we support you well and grow together? She believes wholesale is more than transactions, it’s partnership, trust, and showing up for one another season after season. It is living out our Sisterhood in action.

    When she’s not focused on Pretty Simple, Courtney is pouring into her four boys. Life outside of Pretty Simple is filled with travel, sports schedules (baseball, basketball, football, soccer, and golf), and volunteering within their athletic communities and church.

    Courtney likes to say she is always just an email, text, or phone call away, and she means it. Whether you need account support, want to collaborate, or simply connect.
